SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for producing a gas-liquid mixture and can be used in producing polymers. The device has a vessel in which a stirring shaft is mounted horizontally, to which is attached a helical ribbon-blade mixer with defined geometrical parametres. The method of producing a gas-liquid mixture involves using the device for producing a gas-liquid mixture. The method of producing a polymer involves polymerisation of feed monomers, which contain gaseous monomers in aqueous solvents. The gaseous monomers and aqueous solvents are mixed using the method of producing a gas-liquid mixture. The polymer is produced using above mentioned method of producing a polymer. The said method can be used to produce polytetrafluorethylene and an aqueous dispersion of polytetrafluorethylene.
