FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: obtaining PTFE water emulsion, resulting in low load on the environment, high water emulsion stability, with possibility to obtain moulded product, characterised by high heat resistance. The invention relates to method for obtaining polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) water emulsion, PTFE emulsion thereof obtained, PTFE finely disperse powder and stretched porous material. Method includes carrying out emulsion polymerisation of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) with application of at least one fluorinated emulsifier to obtain water emulsion, including PTFE microparticles, characterised by average size of primary particles in the range from 0.1 to 0.3 mcm. At the beginning of emulsion polymerisation of TFE in emulsion polymerisation system included is (polyfluoroalkyl)ethylene, described by formula "CH2 = CH-Rf1", wherein Rf1 represents C1-10 polyfluoroalkyl group and/or comonomer (b), characterised by constant of rTFE monomer co-polymerisation in the range from 0.1 to 8 in copolymerisation with tetrafluoroethylene, providing their introduction in amount in the range from 0.001 to 0.01 wt % counted per final quantity of obtained polytetrafluoroethylene.
EFFECT: obtaining stable PTFE water emulsion without deterioration of subsequent processability and mouldability, PTFE water dispersion, finely disperse PTFE powder and stretched porous material.
