SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fine powder of modified PTFE, method of its production and to method of pipe or hose production using fine powder of modified PTFE. Fine powder of modified PTFE is a fine powder of non-foamed modified PTFE, which has melt flow rate less than 0.5 g/10 min. Modified PTFE contains units of tetrafluoroethylene, perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether represented by formula CF₂=CFO-C_nF_2n+1, where n is integer from 1 to 6 and the units of perfluoroalkylethylene, represented by formula CH₂=CH-C_mF_2m+1, where m is integer from 3 to 6. Content of links is, wt %, perfluoroalkylvinylether 0.1–0.15, perfluoroalkylethylene 0.001–0.1 with respect to all monomer links in modified PTFE. Finely ground powder of modified PTFE is excellent in formability of paste extrusion and in mechanical properties of molded article.
