FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing light olefins, which are ethylene, propylene or their mixture, from oxygen-containing compounds in a reactor, which contain at least one oxygen atom and from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, characterised by that, it involves the following steps: a) feeding a supply stream of oxygen containing compounds through a stream distributor into a reactor with a fluidised zone for converting oxygen-containing compounds with a catalyst, which contains ELAPO molecular sieve, bringing the oxygen-containing compounds into contact with the catalyst in order to obtain a mixture which contains light olefins, diolefins, unreacted oxygen-containing compounds and other by-products; b) separation of unreacted oxygen-containing compounds and diolefins from light olefins and by-products; and c) returning unreacted oxygen-containing compounds and diolefins to the input of the reactor, separately from the supply stream of oxygen-containing compounds. The invention also relates to a reactor system for realising the proposed method.
EFFECT: possibility of avoiding coking of the distribution medium for the main stream of oxygen-containing compounds.
