FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to geology and predominantly is intended for deep-earth video monitoring. The method includes immersing the device or video monitoring into well, creating optically transparent segment in the area of video monitoring by pumping-in optically transparent liquid the density of which is selected being close to density of well liquid. During pumping-in the optically transparent liquid and video monitoring the area of video monitoring is limited by liquid stream spreader. The device contains tanks with optically transparent liquid, pump, control unit, umbilical with video instrument attached at its end and appliance for optically transparent liquid supply. Liquid stream spreader is installed on video instrument.
EFFECT: creation of method and device for video monitoring of well which in conjuction enable creation of stable optically transparent segment in the area of video monitoring.
