SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and system for determining characteristics of a multiphase flow of an oil well. Method includes installation of stable flow mode in well, and at least for two pumping using locally located pumping devices. At least one indicator set is synchronously pumped, wherein said indicators are optically detectable. Water-affinity and hydrocarbon-affinity indicator having a propagation property of less than 1:10 in the non-target fluid phase is used. At that, said pumping takes place simultaneously in all target fluids. One of said pumping, carried out as control pumping in said pumping position, is carried out over the downstream end of said production zone or nearby it to measure time of transfer of different phases in position (U) online detection downstream. Product flow is transferred from said pumping positions into well to online detector in production stream in position (U) of detection downstream of all pumping positions, where optical monitoring is performed to detect said indicators. Slippage time is determined to detection position (U) between corresponding time of arrival of said water and hydrocarbon indicators when measured in said detection position (U). Based on transportation time and slippage time in local zones, characteristics of well flow behaviour are obtained, wherein said characteristics interpret each zone in form of one or more flow modes.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of determining characteristics of behavior of flow of well in each zone.
