FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipe still design and can be used in oil and oil-processing industry for hydrocarbon media heating. The pipe still for hydrocarbon media heating comprises a casing with a radiant and a convective cells divided by a cylindrical beam-reflecting shell, a radiant and a convective coils are set coaxially in the cells as well as burner units in the casing hearth, and a smoke stack connected to the convective cell by two symmetrical smoke flues; the lower part of the convective coil is placed at the height of 0.1 of the convective cell height from the still hearth. The furnace gases are in counterflow with the medium being heated in both coils. A conical shell made from inverted cones with a common base (the upper one with smaller slope angle and the lower one with greater slope angle to the vertical axis) is set between the cylindrical beam-reflecting shell and the convective coil tubes in the convective cell. Both shells are connected to each other in the upper part and a cone-shaped guiding ring is installed over them. Encasing is made from heat-resistant mullite-siliceous chrome-containing materials withstanding the temperature of up to 1300°C and more. A fireproof protective glue KO3-3 on the basis of aluminium silicates with working temperature of 1600°C is used for the still encasing. The still hearth is equipped by a manhole for the maintenance of operating units during preventive routine and repair works.
EFFECT: improved heat characteristics of the still, ensured unified supply of heat to the heated medium in the convective ring cell, reduced coke formation, increased still operation reliability, decreased pipe still dimensions.
