FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the instrumentation field, specifically to pneumatic methods for bulk materials density measuring, and can be used in such brunches of industry as chemical, food and etc. Jet method for density measuring consists in the following: bulk material layer is affected by gas stream with flow rate less than limit value; pressure difference on the layer and flow rate is recorded by which gaseous phase concentration in stationary layer is determined; after this flow rate is increased up to limit value; pressure difference is measured on the layer from which bulk density is estimated; bulk material particles density is determined from values of gaseous phase concentration and bulk density.
EFFECT: providing possibility to measure gaseous phase concentration, bulk density and density of bulk material particles.
