FIELD: chemical, food and paint and varnish industries. SUBSTANCE: according to procedure measuring density measurement and comparison vessels are filled with equal flow rate proportional to mass of matter, difference in time of filling of vessels with gas up to specified pressure is measured and used to determine value of density. Technical task of invention consists in increase of accuracy of measurement of density of loose matters and solid bodies of various form, in provision of test of their picknometric density. EFFECT: increased measurement accuracy.
