The geophysical radar has a processing and control unit 1, interface 2, transmitter 3, transmitting antenna 4, first mixer 5 of a stroboscopic converter, first strobe former 6, receiving antenna 7, receiver 8, second strobe former 9, second mixer 10 with a stroboscopic converter, correlator 11, trigger 12, switch 13, digital-to-analogue converter 14, amplifier 15, analogue-to-digital converter 16, audio indicator 17, liquid crystal display 18, delay line 19, subtracting unit 20, integrator 21, divider 22, reference voltage formation unit 23, comparator unit 24, adjustable delay unit 25, multiplier 26, low-pass filter 27 and optimising peak-holding controller 28.
EFFECT: increased reliability and detection and identification of objects through automatic determination of depth of their location.
