FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: device relates to subsurface radar ranging, namely to devices for determining location and shape of inhomogeneities and inclusions in building structures and facilities, and can be used in different fields of vital activity. Said result is achieved by the fact that device comprises a portable computer (PC), surface of building structure, electronic unit, antenna unit, high-frequency generator, controller over processing and computer data input, high-frequency signal receiver, transmitting antenna, receiving antenna, object, trigger, correlator, amplifier, delay line, subtractor, integrator, two dividers, reference voltage generating unit, comparator unit, analogue-to-digital converter, interface, switch, liquid-crystal display, audio indicator, automatic controlled delay unit, commutator, low-pass filter, extreme controller, depth indicator of subsurface object and adder, connected to each other in certain manner.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring depth of subsurface object location by increasing curvature of correlation function in area of its maximum.
