FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electric engineering, specifically to switching devices, and can be used to protect rectifying installations against reverse currents. Polarised electromagnet contains magnetic conductor with magnetising coil, constant magnet, main armature and trip-free release armature. Magnetic conductor is made of two flat-topped parts. The first part is made laminated and the second part is not laminated. Two parts are aligned so that there is air gap between them.
EFFECT: increase in operating speed, produceability and extending of its operation range.
