FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electric engineering, specifically to electromagnetic actuators for switching devices. Electromagnetic actuator contains magnetic conductor, coil, main armature and trip-free release armature. The trip-free release armature and the main armature are mounted on magnetic conductor being able to turn relative to magnetic conductor. In this device both armatures in switched-on position are located in mutually perpendicular planes with creation of common magnetic flux. Additionally, the magnetic conductor is divided into two parts with creation of air gap at the side of the trip-free release armature.
EFFECT: increase in magnetic conductor efficiency, providing adjustment of magnetic flux and extending possible application.
