FIELD: physics; acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of converting and amplifying audio signals and can be used in systems for receiving and processing acoustic information. The proposed electro-optical microphone consists of a membrane with a rod attached to its inner side, two plates with mirror surfaces facing each other, one of which is joined to the rod, a light source, directed at the mirror surface of one of the plates, and a photodetector.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity, noise immunity and reliability of reception.
