SUBSTANCE: invention is related to production of start fodders for salmon fishes. Fodder contains the following components of the following ratio, wt %: fish flour 14-16, fish forcemeat of raw carcasses of low value fishes 60-62, food fish oil with antioxidant 9-10, corn flour 8-9, binder - carboxymethylcellulose at least 4, vitamin-mineral premix at least 1. Method consists in the fact that carcasses of low value fishes are ground in grinder, mixed with fish oil, vegetable component and premix to produce homogeneous mass, granules are shaped by means of homogeneous mass passage through grinder with formation of cylindrically shaped tapes and their layout onto substrates with further fast freezing of end product, at the same time fish flour is added to produced forcemeat of fish carcasses, when it is mixed with fish oil and premix, and vegetable component used is corn flour, binder - carboxymethylcellulose.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve quality of produced fodder and to reduce power inputs.
