METHOD OF INTRA-OPERATION VISUALISATION OF NEUROVASCULAR FASCICLE ELEMENTS IN CASE OF RADICAL CYSTECTOMY AND RADICAL PROSTATECTOMY Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61B6/02 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and is intended for intra-operation visualisation of neurovascular fascicle in case of radical prostatectomy and/or radical cystectomy. Visualisation of neurovascular fascicle elements incase of radical prostatectomy and/or radical cystectomy is carried out by method of optic coherent tomography (OCT) with simultaneous obtaining of OCT-images in direct and in orthogonal polarisation. OCT-scanning in each point is carried out twice, with change of angle of scanning on 90° by turning tomography sensor. OCT-image of tissues is obtained in longitudinal and transversal sections. Differentiation of elements of neurovascular fascicle is performed by results of OCT-scanning.

EFFECT: claimed method allows to identify and differentiate nerve trunks, artery and venous vessels, connective-tissue elements clearly by results of cross-polarisation optic coherent tomography.
