SUBSTANCE: invention is related to agriculture, veterinary medicine, in particular to devices and accessories, which provide for removal of excess horn on hoofs and sharp ends of horn shells. Device comprises body-handle, shaft installed in bearings in body-handle, cutting apparatus in the form of disk cutter and support disk with sector cut arranged at the end of shaft, drive. In body-handle there is electric motor arranged, shaft of which is installed in bearings of supports, which bears turbine-wind blower, passes in slide bushes of supports and ends with disk cutter. Disk cutter has figure teeth arranged along its periphery. Turbine-wind blower supplies flow of cooling air to disk cutter and in area of horn and bone masses through perforations provided in body-handle, supports of bearing and supports of bushes. In section of body-handle, which is adjacent to disk cutter, there is a threaded section, where threaded section of support disk may move and be fixed in required place with lock-nut.

EFFECT: application of invention makes it possible to increase efficiency and safety of labor in prophylaxis and treatment of cattle orthopaedic diseases.
