FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Crystalline lens is exposed to laser energy 160-180 mJ in case of dense nuclei and 200 mJ - in case of brown nuclei, pulse recurrence rate being 25 Hz, with formation of crater in central parts of nucleus. When crystalline lens coagulation appears energy of laser impact is increased on 20-30 mJ, on this energy crater in crystalline lens is formed within the range of capsulorexis to depth 80-90 % of crystalline lens width, then energy of laser irradiation is reduced on 10-30 mJ and on this energy crater is widened beyond capsulorexis limits, making its wall up to 3-3.5 mm thin. Then one more time energy is reduced on 10-30 mJ, making crater wall up to 1.5-2 mm thin. Total reduction of energy constitutes 20-40 mJ.
EFFECT: method allows to avoid damaging front capsule of crystalline lens, to reduce complications.
