FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: formation of tunnel accesses and corneal paracentesis is realised. Viscoelastic is introduced, capsulorexis is carried out, destruction of crystalline lens core is carried out by energy of Nd-YAG laser with wave length 1.44 mcm and ultrasound with frequency 30-60 kHz. Exposure is carried out in one step by simultaneous introduction through paracentesis of laser tip and through tunnel access of ultrasonic needle with combined differently directed radiation of laser and ultrasonic energy with aspiration of core destruction products. Used is laser tip-manipulator, equipped with spatula-shaped element.
EFFECT: method allows to minimise laser impact on eye tissues to the range of 100-170 mJ and power of ultrasound to 40-60% with possibility to destroy densest cores with carrying out tunnel access of minimal size and application of ultrasonic needle with cuff of smaller gauge.
