FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: to increase fire resistance limit of metal obstacle filled with water, water in it should be continuously made up or cooled. Cooling is achieved by the fact that coils are installed in metal reservoirs with water, where cooled water is supplied from cooling pond or from coil installed in it. On the basis of heat exchange temperature in metal containers with water falls down below 100°C, steam generation is reduced or stopped. In case of necessity, mobile cooling ponds for replacement or addition are connected to piping from coils in metal containers with water. For additional reduction of temperature, water from metal containers is drained into cooling pond, from which water after cooling along piping is supplied to reserve container, and from it again into metal container. Heated water in coils of metal containers may be used for various purpose.
EFFECT: metal containers with water and coils may be used as heating elements of heating system.
