FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: locomotive adsorption plant comprises control unit and electrically driven compressor operated in intermittent mode with its motor controlled by pressure relay It comprises also check valve, heat exchanger and two parallel compressed air drying Every parallel adsorber is furnished with inlet shut-off valve, blow-down valve fitted in its bottom part and outlet check valves Further, it includes regeneration air line with throttle running parallel to adsorber outlets, feed line with air manifold and bridging line with shut-off valves Regeneration air line has two normally open on-off valves, controlled electromagnetic gate and additional throttle Additional regeneration air line is connected, parallel to aforesaid said regeneration air line and via shut-off valves and throttles, to every outlet of adsorbers.
EFFECT: reduced operating costs in production of compressed dehumidified air
