FIELD: textile, paper.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to papermaking production. Moulding fabric for papermaking machine contains the first and second layers, every of which has multiple threads arranged along paper travel in machine, and threads located across paper travel in machine. Fabric also contains multiple binding threads, which connect threads of the first layer to threads of the second layer. Threads arranged along with paper travel in machine and threads arranged across paper travel in machine, in the first layer and in the second layer, and also binding threads are single-fiber. Group of specified threads has the first melting temperature. Remaining threads have one or several melt temperatures, every of which is higher than specified first melt temperature. Fabric is heated up to specified temperature, which is at least equal to the first melt temperature, but is below melt temperature or each of melt temperatures of remaining threads.
EFFECT: invention provides for improved strength of created seam, stability of dimensions and planarity of fabric surface.
