FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to air cooling and can be used for effective operation in hot and dry climate conditions. Essence of invention consists in the fact that design of heat-mass-exchange cell of air cooling unit includes dry and adjacent wet channels; at that, walls of dry channels are waterproof, and wet channels - moisture-permeable. Length of walls of wet channels is 120…140 of width of wet channel. As base of paperlike sheet of walls of wet channels there used are staple glass fibres.
EFFECT: invention provides high water absorption rate and water-yielding capacity of walls of wet channels, which leads to increase in air cooling efficiency in evaporation cell of the proposed design, and therefore, capacity of the unit as a whole, especially in hot and dry climate conditions, as well as to increase in technical and economic performance.
