SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information measuring and computer engineering and can be used in electrical power engineering for recording parametres of transient processes of variation of voltage and current in electrical networks during accidents. The technical outcome is achieved due to that: 1) the first version of the recording device has a group of analogue sensors, a group of digital sensors, multichannel first analogue and second digital switches, modulus former, null detector, reference voltage source, decoder, first, second and third random access memory (RAM), read-only memory (ROM), microcontroller, timer, first - fourth single channel analogue switches, analogue-to-digital converter (ADC), first and second analogue comparators, register, first - fifth counters, first - third triggers, NAND component, first - fifth AND components, first - fourth OR components, first - sixteenth monostable multivibrators, digital comparator, clock pulse generator; 2) in the second version, the recording device has a group of analogue sensors, a group of digital sensors, multichannel first analogue and second digital switches, module former, null detector, reference voltage source, decoder, first, second and third RAM, ROM, microcontroller, timer, first -third single-channel analogue switches, clock pulse generator, ADC, register, first - fifth counters, first - fifth OR components, first - fourteenth monostable multivibrators, first - third triggers, NAND components, first - sixth AND components, first and second digital comparators, boundary code assignment unit.

EFFECT: wider functional capabilities of the device due to possibility of recording parametres of transient processes of variation of voltage and current in electrical networks during accidents, as well as in time intervals before emergency situations.
