SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication systems. The method involves receiving a message from a non-IP object; using markup language such as XML to present the message and content, where non-IP content in the XML-message is identified by using the META element of the XML language, where the META element describes content type as "name of non-IP protocol", and sending the XML message. Use of XML preferably involves encapsulation of the received content into an XML-message and using the META element of the XML language in order to enable the recipient of the XML-message to extract that content. The message received from the non-IP object can be an IS-683 standard message.
