FIELD: physics, computation equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method involves SyncML or any similar tag language allowing two devices to synchronise data arrangement in respective data storages supported by these devices, functioning according to the method and respective computer program, which allows any of the mentioned devices to function according to the method. According to the method, two devices synchronise their respective data storages in respect of data block directories and possibly other directories via exchange of messages containing data identification elements referring to directories to enable data storage synchronisation in respect of directories. Data identification elements in messages are external to any data block references.
EFFECT: enhanced synchronisation accuracy.
