FIELD: physics; communications.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to compensation for cross noise at the near line end (CNNLE) in connectors, and more specifically to a technique for suppressing or reducing cross noise at the near line end in a multi-stage compensated system by creating a frequency-dependant effective capacitance. The connector includes a first compensating structure, provided on the inner metallised layer of a semiconductor in the zone of the first step of the semiconductor, and a second compensating structure, provided in the zone of the second step of the semiconductor, to increase compensation capacitance with increase in frequency.
EFFECT: simultaneous improvement of the high-frequency characteristic of cross noise at the near line end, when low cross noise plug connectors are used, and low-frequency high-frequency characteristic of cross noise at the near line end, when strong cross noise plug connectors are used.
