FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurosurgery and can be applied for determining of intracranial pressure in case of severe cerebral injury. Ultrasonic scanning of brain is carried out in real time mode. If pathological changes of brain in form of hyperechogenicity of periventricular areas of brain, shifting of crescent, absence of bypass cictern, asymmetric hydrocephalus and hyperechogenicity of cerebellum tentorium are detected, intracranial pressure is considered to be increased.
EFFECT: method provides possibility of repeated atraumatic analysis of intracranial pressure condition, allows exclusion of possible infection and embolic complications of brain in case of cerebral injury at stage of diagnostic examination of patient.
