FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery. MSCT is performed. MSCT image is used to measure diameters of the right and left optic nerve membranes within the uveoscleral ring at distance of 3 mm from the eyeball shells and their mean value is established. Besides, minimum distance between head of tail nuclei is measured at level of visualized bodies of anterior horns of lateral ventricles of brain. Value of the optic-ventricular coefficient (OVC) is established by the declared formula. If the HVAC value is more than 86.0 %, a hypertensive brain reaction with prolapse is predicted. If the HVAC value is 54–85.9 %, the normotensive reaction. If OVC is 53.9 % or less, the hypotensive brain reaction to the acute traumatic intracranial hematoma is eliminated.
EFFECT: method enables predicting the cerebral response to the acute intracranial hematoma removal objectively and independently of the clinical state of the patient, the hematoma localization point and the number thereof by evaluating the complex of the most significant parameters.
