FIELD: printing.

SUBSTANCE: insert is intended for closing of surfaces of radial type of reservoir for paint in printing machine otherwise soaked with printing dye. Insert is made of sheet material and comprises lower panel with longitudinal edge. After installation of insert into reservoir longitudinal edge is arranged in close proximity to clearance, on top of edge of reservoir bottom adjacent to clearance. Longitudinal edge does not have positive ledge in direction of paint roller. Lower panel of insert comprises adhesive substance. Adhesive substance is arranged continuously along longitudinal edge and does not create negative ledge in direction of paint roller clearance. Adhesive substance has zero or positive ledge relative to edge. Adhesive substance tightly connected edge of lower panel to bottom of reservoir for paint. In process of insert making, adhesive substance is continuously applied onto sheet material at least along specified length. Edge of lower panel is profiled, due to separation of sheet material of insert, leaving applied adhesive substance.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to exclude paint leakage under insert.
