SUBSTANCE: described is a paint removal system for an intaglio printing machine containing a rotary roller assembly for the paint removal designed to remove excess paint from the rotogravure cylinder surface. Rotary roller assembly for the paint removal contains a rotary hollow cylindrical housing having an outer surface arranged for cleaning the gravure cylinder surface and a blocking device located inside the cylindrical housing and intended to press onto the inner surface of the cylindrical housing an to enable pressure control during paint removal between the cylindrical housing and the gravure cylinder.
EFFECT: blocking device comprises multiple pressing devices, which are distributed in the axial direction along the hollow cylindrical housing able to adjust pressure during paint removal between the cylindrical housing and the gravure cylinder in multiple axial positions along the length of the hollow cylindrical housing.
