FIELD: building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to coating material with binding and filler containing nano-size particles and also to application of such coating material for coating facades and other parts of buildings. Here is disclosed a coating material containing (in weight %) photo-catalyst decomposed binding (10-30), particles of filler of size and/or roughness up to 10 mcm (2-18) and photo catalytic acting agent in form of oxides of titanium, zinc, iron, manganese, molybdenum and/or tungsten (2-15). Thickness of external coating made out of described coating material decreases in result of photo catalysis at 0.1 mcm or more per year. Here is also disclosed application of described coating material for coating facades and other parts of building.
EFFECT: making coating material of said type possessing long lasting property for self-cleaning under periodic influence of precipitations running water or mechanical load.
