FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to refacing of worn parts that require high mechanical strength and antirust properties. Proposed method comprises acceleration of powder material in supersonic nozzle with the help of pre-heated airflow and deposition of powder material on article surface, said deposited material containing mix of emery, aluminium and zinc powders. Note here that article surface is subjected to sandblasting and, thereafter, powder material layer is deposited thereon to be mechanically processed to required layer thickness. Now, additional layer of emery and aluminium powder mixes is deposited, mechanically processed and subjected to anode or micro-arc oxidizing.
EFFECT: cheap coating with higher mechanical strength and high antirust properties.
