FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in acceleration of powder particles in nozzle with flow of heated air and in sputtering aluminium-zinc coating on surface of item. Coating consists of aluminium and zinc powder mixtures. Sputtered coating is mechanically treated and subjected to anode oxidising thus forming dielectric net layer on coating due to removal of zinc from a near-surface region of coating and due to conversion of aluminium to aluminium oxide.
EFFECT: raised mechanical strength and improved corrosion properties.
