FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to control equipment and can be implemented for automated non-contact control of items with female thread. The essence of the invention is as follows: a controlled item is arranged on a base and a triangular sensor is located inside the controlled item; by means of this sensor the first probe ray is generated in the direction of thread surface of the controlled item. The triangular sensor is transferred along axis of thread of the controlled item, the rays diffusively scattered by thread surface are received by the triangular sensor, are converted into electric signals and are transmitted to personal computer (PC). Additionally the second probe ray is generated in the direction of thread surface of the controlled item by means of the triangle sensor; also both probe rays are directed so, that they are found in the same plane with axis of thread of the controlled item and form angles with this axis correspondingly: α1=(60±30)° and α2=(α1+60)°. The given sequence of steps of the method can be realised in the facility of control over internal thread consisting of the base of the facility whereon the controlled item is installed, of a movable carriage travelling along axis of thread of controlled item and equipped with an electric drive of transfer and a sensor of linear transfer; further, the facility consists of the triangular sensor arranged on the movable carriage and equipped with the electric drive of rotation around lengthwise axis, of a sensor of rotation angle and of PC, inlets of which are connected to outlets of the triangle sensor of linear transfer and sensor of rotation angle, while outlets are connected to electric drives of transfer and rotation. Also two optoelectronic heads in the triangular sensor generate two probe rays and receive corresponding diffusive scattered rays. Notably, each of optoelectronic heads is made in form of kinescope through lens optically connected with surface of the controlled item; while the outlet of kinescope is the outlet of the triangular sensor.
EFFECT: expanded assortment of types of controlled threads.
