FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to instrument engineering, particularly to designing of indicating pressure gauges, thermometres and other instruments, cases of which have cylinder shape of various diametres with protective organic glass over dial plate. The pressure gauge consists of a cylinder case, of a dial plate with a scale applied on it of a working angle 270 degrees and non-working angle 90 degrees, a needle indicator above the dial plate and a protective transparent organic glass in form of a disk over the dial plate with the needle. Also an electric source of light is installed into the protective glass at depth equal to the dimension of the light source; notably the light source is located in a lower non-working part of the dial plate, while a groove of a required depth is made along perimetre of the cylinder part of the protective glass disk on internal end surface; the groove has dull surface of sides; part of the protecting glass before the light source is covered with optically non-transparent screen.

EFFECT: pressure gauges with cylinder cases of instruments of similar design with illumination of scale for expanding range of their implementation.
