FIELD: physics; optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical-electronic instrument making and can be used in devices with optical-mechanical scanning, for example interlaced scanning. The optical deflector has a scanning element, an elastic suspension, two piezoceramic bimorph elements and a slack-free kinematic connection unit. The scanning element is fitted with possibility of oscillating on the elastic suspension. The elastic suspension is mounted on a base using two pairs of flat springs. Flat springs in each pair are at a right angle to each other. The axis of oscillation of the scanning element passes through the centre of mass of the movable part of the elastic suspension. The two piezoceramic bimorph elements are cantilever fitted on the base parallel each other. The slack-free kinematic connection unit of the piezoceramic bimorph elements with the movable part of the elastic suspension has two supports and a rotation body. The supports are made from dielectric material and lie on the outer side of the free ends of the piezoceramic bimorph elements. Between the free ends of the piezoceramic bimorph elements there is a rotation body, which is fitted with possibility of oscillating about its axis, which is parallel to the axis of oscillation of the scanning element.
EFFECT: increased angle of deflection of the scanning element while maintaining high vibration resistance of the device.
