FIELD: physics; acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: housing is proposed, which evens out acoustic impedance, which contains a loud speaker fitted in the buffer cavity of the mouth of the transmission line with a closed loop. The transmission line consists of a terminal element, inner and outer walls of the housing, high density lining and a mouth area. The transmission line eliminates internal chaotic standing waves, at the same time providing for standing waves at variable frequency, which, due to superposition of waves, compensate for output loss at high frequencies due to mass acceleration, at the same time damping resonance of the loud speaker. Also the housing, which evens out acoustic impedance, is used for creating pressure which loads the loud speaker directly into the transmission line with a closed loop and an acoustic low-pass zonal filter is used to convert output only into the low-frequency component through a port.
EFFECT: elimination of negative effect of internal standing waves on a loud speaker diaphragm, as well as provision for its proper loading at all frequencies and reduced effect of reflections from building walls.
