FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics, in particular to loudspeakers. The loudspeaker contains a cylindrical case including an upper part, a lower part, and a side surface, while the side surface of the case additionally forms a phase inverter port; at least one loudspeaker placed inside the case, containing a flange facing the lower part; a waveguide including at least the first surface forming at least one sound channel for conductance of a given sound generated with at least one loudspeaker. The first surface is formed in the lower part of the case, and it contains a conical protrusion having a vertex facing the loudspeaker flange, wherein the vertex of the conical protrusion and a center of the loudspeaker flange are located on the common axis, so that the channel includes three areas. The first area is characterized with the first size in a cross-section along the side surface of the case between the vertex of the conical protrusion and the center of the loudspeaker flange. At the same time, the first size is selected so that resonance phenomena in a frequency characteristic of the given sound at frequencies corresponding to a middle range and an upper range are minimized. A size of the second area allows for maximization of acoustic resistance. A size of the third area corresponds to the maximum value of a wavelength.
EFFECT: reduction in distortions, increase in the sound quality, increase in compactness.
