SUBSTANCE: series of inventions is related to agricultural engineering and is to be implemented in disc mower cutter beams. During manufacture of the disc mower cutter beam housing the upper and the lower metal plates become profiled. The plates are weld-joined to produce a casing. In the casing holes are laser-cut for installation of the discs mounting bearings and the intermediate drive gears supports.
EFFECT: manufacture of disc mower cutter beam housings in accordance with the method proposed serves to improve their quality and operational reliability.
