FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring systolic arterial blood pressure, diastolic arterial blood pressure and heart beat rate in initial state and under test with stepwise increasing physical loading. Then probability P of disease is calculated from formula P=P = eh/(1+eh), where e is the base of natural logarithm and h is the index calculatable from proposed mathematical formulas including the measured values of systolic arterial blood pressure, diastolic arterial blood pressure and heart beat rate at rest and at different stages of loading in lying and sitting position. P being greater than 0.5, hypertension disease is diagnosed. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis. 1 tbl
