FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method of continuous feed of film strips for casting process contains stage of film preparation, film broaching stage, stage of film cutting and stage of film feeding. Stage of film preparation includes preparation of film roll, drawing and fixation of top end in the first position. Stage of film broaching includes retention of film and broaching of film in the direction of film feeding for movement of top end into the second position. Stage of film cutting includes film cutting for receiving of section. Stage of film feeding includes keeping of film section and movement of film section into the third position. Stage of film preparation, stage of films broaching and stage of film cutting are successively repeated for continuous feeding of film sections for casting process.
EFFECT: providing reduction of process duration, reduction of working areas, reduction of discard and increasing of effectiveness.
