FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for synthesis of secondary nitramines of general formula RR1NNO2, where R-R1=CH3, C2H5, C3H7, n-C4H9, i-C4H9, O2NOCH2CH2, or R+R1=CH2CH2OCH2CH2, (CH2)5, CH2CH2N(NO2)CH2CH2, through nitration of corresponding secondary amines with a mixture of nitric acid and acetic anhydride in the presence of a zinc chloride catalyst at temperature 20-40°C. The method is distinguished by that, the process is carried out in a carbon dioxide medium at pressure of 80-100 atm. Secondary nitramines are used as herbicides, effective plant growth stimulants, antiseptics, additives to lubricating oils and fuel, as well as in the defense industry.
EFFECT: increased fire- and explosion safety of the process, improved environmental characteristics of the process, increased output of end products, as well as suppression of the secondary process of formation of N,N-dialkylacetamides.
