FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: fibre is cleaned in liquid medium. After drying process, fibre of washed wool is exposed to action of low temperature plasma of high-frequency capacitive discharge in vacuum chamber for 180-300 s at working pressure of 13.0-30.0 Pa, flow rate of plasma-generating gas argon 0.03-0.05 g/s, density of ion current 0.2-0.7 A/m2.
EFFECT: method is realised on high-frequency plasma installation and provides for improved quality of wool fibres due to complex improvement of physical-mechanical properties, improvement of wettability, reduction of felting ability and shrinkage in case of wet treatment.
