FIELD: aerospace engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering and can be sued in designing various separating systems and devices. Proposed device consists of external and internal casings, explosive bolt with electric primer and attachments. Internal casing features stepwise axial bore. External and internal casings represent two cups on foot bolted together, bolts being fitted parallel to device axis. Foot of one of the cups features axial stepwise bore receiving explosive bolt and nut. Bore is stopped, on nut side, by a set of plates made from material with yield point lower than that of casing material. Plates have bores with diametre matching that of the bolt. Casing houses thin-wall cylinder with alternating cutouts and bearing surfaces made in cylinder end faces. Split thin-wall cylinder consists of two smaller-height cylinders with alternating cutouts and bearing surfaces. Each cutout of one end face on both cylinders mates bearing surface of the other end face. Each cutout of one end face of first cylinder fitted on explosive bolt side mates bearing surface of second cylinder. Cylinders are jointed together with the help of shaped ring along its upper and lower surfaces. Ring impact strength is smaller than that of the first cylinder and greater than that of the second cylinder.
EFFECT: reduced impact loads on structural elements.
