FIELD: impact testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of impact testing and can be used primarily in high-intensity impact testing of various devices, instruments and equipment. The effect is achieved by the fact that to create shock effects, a pyrotechnic device is used, consisting of a hollow body with a thread on the outer surface, a squib, a piston with a seal, on which a removable striker is installed using a thread, a locking element that fixes the piston in the body. The device differs from the known ones in that the thread on the body is separated by a flange made in the form of a nut, and in the body next to the flange in the form of a nut, on the striker side, through holes are made perpendicular to the axis of the body. At the same time, a nut in the form of a cup with a hole in the bottom and a thread along the inner surface of the cup is installed on the body itself with the help of a thread, and the height of the wall of the cup in its inner part is less than the distance from the end of the body to the through hole. The piston with the striker is installed in the bottom of the nut with the help of a locking element, and flats are made on the piston from the striker side and on the striker from the piston side, which are used when assembling the device. Collars are made on the opposite side of the piston striker, between which seals are installed, and the distance from the body end to the through holes is greater than the size of the collars with seals on the piston, which ensures free pressure relief from the cavity. In addition, a profiled insert with seals is installed on the thread in the body from the side opposite to the striker, the outer flange of which rests against the end of the body through a sealing ring of variable thickness made of soft metal, which ensures the tightness of the device when the volume of the cavity inside the device changes. Flats are made on the liner flange itself, and a through hole of variable diameter is made inside the liner, and a gas generator with a cylindrical part with an igniter composition, which has a different mass, is installed in the small diameter hole. The gas generator is fixed in a hole of a larger diameter using a thread, and the body itself with a piston, an insert and a gas generator is installed on a thread in the bottom of the glass and the body is fixed with a lock nut, while on the opposite end side of the glass on its outer part a flange with holes is made, which allows dock the device with the test object.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of more accurate reproduction of the shock load.
