FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to evaluation methods of operating fuel properties, namely to evaluation of their corrosive activity. Method of determining corrosive fuel activity for jet propulsion motors, at which specially prepared check plate interacts with analysed fuel in reaction capacity at temperature of 150°C during 3 h, during which current values of electric resistance Ri of check plate are recorded, electric resistance vs time curve Ri=f(τi) is built, actual velocities of change of electric resistance of check plate are determined, from which maximum value of this velocity Vmax is chosen, according to which instant of time τVmax> is determined, which corresponds to maximum velocity, and as per curve Ri=f(τi) there determined is value of electric resistance RVmax. For this instant of time, as data index of corrosive fuel activity there used is difference between RVmax and initial value of electric resistance Rinitial, obtained value is compared to maximum allowable value which is taken as 200 Ohm, and when data index value is more than 200 Ohm, fuel for jet propulsion motors is considered to be corrosion active.
EFFECT: improving accuracy and fidelity of determining corrosive activity of fuels for jet propulsion motors when interacting with metals and alloys.
