SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and can be used in experimental designing and when organising maintenance of complex items (systems) for determining time required for carrying complex operations which provide the required readiness of an item for its intended use. The proposed device is distinguished from the counterpart by availability of a second unit of output circuits, a trigger, as well as a collection of functional units and inter-unit connections of devices for calculating the readiness factor of subsystems of the item and the item as a whole.

EFFECT: wide range of use and information capacity of the device due to implementation of a mathematical model, which allows for calculating maximum permissible values of time for restoring working capacity of subsystems of the item and outputting values of the calculated readiness factor as output data and time for restoring working capacity of each subsystem of the item, as well as the calculated value of the readiness factor of the item as a whole.
