SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in development activities and in practice of operation of existing items (systems) to detect maximum permissible expenditures of time for performance of repair and restoration works providing for required availability of item for use. Device comprises m calculators of subsystems availability coefficients, every of which includes amplifier, subtractor, two summators, two tumblers and divider. Device also includes delay unit, comprising m-2 delay elements, multiplicaton unit, including m-1 multipliers; two tumblers, switch, time sensor, multivibrator, delay element and comparison element.

EFFECT: improved information value due to detection and presentation of output data as calculated values of time required to restore serviceability of item subsystems and coefficient of item availability.
