FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rechargeable actuating device. The rechargeable actuating device has an electric drive and a small capacitance battery connected to the electric drive. The small capacitance battery has charge capacity which is sufficient for ordinary use of the device from one time to several times. A charger can also be used to charge the rechargeable device. The charger can contain a charging circuit and an indicator which indicates the charge state of the rechargeable device. The charger can include a large capacitance battery with charge capacity greater than the charge capacity of the small capacitance battery of the rechargeable device. The large capacitance battery provides sufficient electrical energy for recharging the small capacitance battery. The charger can have a power cable for receiving energy from an ac power supply. Methods of using the rechargeable device and charging the rechargeable device are also proposed.
